Logitech Maus mag keine 3com 3c509 Ethernetkarte

Hi,
jetzt wollte ich mich mal einem Problem annehmen, das ich sowohl unter Suse 
8.0 als auch unter MD 8.2 habe: Wenn ich mit YaST (oder dem 
MD-Kontrollzentrum) meine "3com EtherLink III 3c5098-c" aktivire/installieren 
lasse, stirbt meine Logitech Funkmaus (ps2), d.h. sie lässt sich weder mit 
den erwähnten Distro-tools aktivieren noch findet gpm etwas am ps2.
Jetzt hab ich die Karte erstmal deaktiviert, aber wäre cool wenn sie laufen 
würde. Hier mal ein paar Logausschnitte:
