fetchmail

Hallo alle miteinander.
ich frage ungern, aber ich weiss beim besten willen nicht mehr weiter.
Habe auf dem DSL- Gateway fetchmail/sendmail laufen. Manchmal klappt das abholen 
anstandslos aber dann ist irgendwas faul.
Kann mir jemand nachfolgende Meldung erklären? die kommt fast ständig, ausser wenn 
ich die mails direkt über einen anderen Rechner (direkt ISDN oder über Handy) abrufe.

Wenn ich auf dem Mailserver die verschiedenen Postfächer prüfen lasse (webmin -> 
fetchmail -> server prüfen) kommt folgendes:

Was hat denn mail abholen mit SMTP zu tun? Hab ich da was verschlafen?
